Name of the Charitable Businessmen Removed from Faculty Signboard

Signboard of the faculty building constructed by Akman Holding in Ereğli caused a new crisis.

When the signboard of the Faculty building, which was had constructed by Charitable businessman Kemal Akman in 2005 at 3.2 million dollars in Ereğli, was changed, his son and the chairman of the board of directors Ali Akman made very strident statements.

Akman stated: we built a large 3000-person faculty building in Ereğli, but the signboard that carried my father’s name was removed. The signboard was hung when it was affiliated to Selçuk university. A short time after the school got affiliated to Necmettin Erbakan University, we saw that the signboard on which my father’s name was written was removed and instead a signboard on which Necmettin Erbakan education faculty was written was hund.

We are very sorry as the whole family. This was a charitable event made by our family. Anyway, the protocol of this was already signed. We will solve this problem by filing a lawsuit soon through our consultants, we will also carry this matter to the Turkish Grand National Assembly. Ali Akman continued: this event is as important as the Gezi Park events. There is a significant immorality here. The name of my father who had this building constructed is removed from the building and it is hung to an irrelevant other building.
