Antalya İsmet İnönü Girl’s Vocational High School students visited Golden Fruit Juice Factory in Korkuteli district of Antalya and made investigations.
Grade 10 food-beverage division students from İsmet İnönü Girl’s Vocational High School visited Golden Fruit Juice Factory and made investigations. A group of 60 students received information about production, quality and standards while Food Engineers Kamile Tunç and Mehmet Tokmak explained fruit juice production to the students in detail.
Factory General Manager Nur Gezer stated that they acted with the fact that good product can be produced from good raw material and that they selected the most beautiful fruits from production areas throughout the year and preserved them at their cold stores. Gezer stated that a record of the products was kept daily according to the requirements after they undergo the sorting, washing, disinfecting and rinsing processes and said: “The fruits that arrive at the factory undergo processes of squeezing, filling into bottles, labeling and dating respectively and then they are sent to sale points as packaged”.
Gezer emphasized that the freshly squeezed fruit juices that doesn’t contain any additives and doesn’t undergo heat treatment were consumed daily and responded the students’ questions about production.
